Sophie VILLETTE

Sophie Villette is Assistant Director of Development at the Sustainable Development Directorate of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Sophie Villette started her diplomatic career in 2007 as a policy drafter at the African and Indian Ocean Directorate (2007-2010). Seconded to the German Foreign Ministry in Berlin from 2010 to 2012, Sophie Villette worked as a political adviser in Vienna from 2012 to 2015. She was policy drafter and then Deputy Assistant Director at the European Union Directorate from 2015 to 2020. Sophie Villette served as First Counsellor at the French Embassy in Brussels from 2020 to 2023. Sophie Villette holds a master’s degree in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris.
