Impact Data, online platform for collecting impact data
As a development finance institution, Proparco is committed to promote transparency and accountability in assessing the social, economic and environmental impacts of its financing operations. With the Impact Data platform, Proparco collects from its clients the data needed to track and analyze its impact indicators.

Collecting and analyzing impact data
To monitor and analyze the impact of its actions, Proparco has set up a process for collecting data from its clients during project assessment and during annual campaigns. This annual project monitoring exercise enables Proparco to compare ex-ante impacts, which means the expected impacts of financing over the five years after the project signature, with impacts data actually observed during the project implementation phase with the data collection annual campaigns.
With the progress made in monitoring indicators, Proparco is improving its knowledge of the impacts of its projects. The institution also contributes to the implementation of its 2023-2027 strategy, which firmly focuses on the search for positive impacts and accompanying its clients on a sustainable development trajectory.
