AFD Group - 2018 Results

€11.4 billion in commitments, up €1 billion in a year (+40% in 3 years)
846 new development projects launched (94 more than in 2017)
€5.3 billion for the African continent (50% of AFD total commitments and 3/4 of budget resources)
€4.8 billion in commitments with a climate co-benefit and €1.6 billion in 2018 for climate change adaptation projects (twice the figure for 2017)
10,000 African businesses and start-ups will have received support by 2022 with €2.5 billion committed thanks to the Choose Africa initiative.
