Matt Guttentag is the manager of the Growth Firms Alliance, where he focuses on strengthening collaboration and support for highgrowth firms in emerging and frontier markets. He previously served as managing director of development impact at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where he worked on assessing and enhancing the impact of development finance investments. He has also worked as a Partnerships Advisor at USAID, supporting the development and management of strategic partnerships across development initiatives.

The Growth Firms Alliance is a network of private philanthropies working together to strengthen the support ecosystem for high-growth firms in low- and middle-income countries. Its goal is to help these firms scale more effectively by improving access to finance, knowledge, and enabling environments. By addressing key barriers to growth, the Alliance aims to unlock the potential of these firms to drive job creation, foster innovation, and ultimately contribute to more inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
