Catherine Bareyre

She manages a team of 18 people tasked with providing operational and institutional support at PROPARCO. Catherine studied both law and interpreting/translation in France and abroad and began her career as a lawyer in a large corporate law firm in Paris (Gide Loyrette Nouel). She was subsequently a legal officer at the Secretariat of His Highness the Aga Khan, before joining AFD’s Legal Department in 2005 as a legal officer in charge of financing/operational support.

In 2008, she was appointed Deputy Head of the Operational Support Division in AFD’s Legal Department, then Head of Division in 2010. She took over as CLO in PROPARCO’s Legal Department on 17 September 2012.
