DenizLeasing has signed a 50 Million EUR loan agreement with Proparco. The financing will be used to support renewable energy investments in Turkey as well as projects that reduce carbon emissions.
This transaction underscores DenizLeasing’s growing role in sustainable finance and its long-term commitment to supporting the Türkiye 's climate goals.
The loan agreement was announced during a ceremony held on October 3rd, 2025, on the occasion of the Proparco Days, in Paris at Proparco Head Office, with the participation of DenizLeasing General Manager Burak Koçak and Proparco Deputy CEO Djalal Khimdjee.

The financing will enable DenizLeasing to further expand its green lending activity, aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement, thus, contributing to the country’s transition to a low-carbon economy. The project will contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth and 13 Climate Action.
