Client presentation
CAL Bank is a Ghanaian commercial bank founded in 1990. It obtained a universal bank license in 2004. It plays a major role in Ghana’s financial sector, by offering financing and investment banking services to large companies. It also has retail banking and asset management activities.
Project description
Proparco’s financing will support the development of CAL Bank’s activity.
Project impact
This operation will promote long-term investments in Ghana. It will help increase the volume and quality of the range of banking products in the country. By meeting the financial needs of the private sector, it contributes to creating jobs and to the economic development of the country.
