A fund specialized in renewable energies in Chile, Peru and Colombia

Americas Energy Fund II Clean Energy (AEF II CE) is a joint investment vehicle managed by SCL Energia Activa (SCLEA), a leading fund manager in the energy sector in the Andean area.

AEF II Clean Energy is a fund which co-invests with the AEF II fund, almost exclusively in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The AEF II Clean Energy fund will more specifically aim to finance virtuous projects, particularly in terms of improving the energy mix (fuel switch projects, for example). Its priority focus will be Chile, Peru and Colombia and, to a lesser extent, Central America and the Caribbean.

This financing will have a positive impact on the climate. It will contribute to the development of clean energies and to initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The funded assets will also contribute to improving energy security in the Andean countries targeted. They will also be a major source of employment (several hundred jobs will in particular be created during the construction phases).
