Overview

Andy Deacon is co-managing director of the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM). He has worked for 20 years across a range of environmental protection issues focusing on climate change, energy and air quality in local, regional and central government, academia and NGOs. He has been part of and led major initiatives on city carbon reduction strategies. He is a co-facilitator of the Finance Action Track of the International Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure and steering group member of the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance. Andy Deacon has been at GCoM since 2020 and co-managing the organisation since May 2021.
