Amélie de Montchalin is responsible for coordinating the AXA Group’s positions on regulatory and public policy issues at a global level. AXA has 166,000 employees in 64 countries serving some 103 million customers across its four lines of business: property and casualty insurance, life and savings, health insurance and asset management. AXA needs to constantly anticipate major transformations in order to tailor products and services to present and future customer needs. For example, in February 2016 it launched a global initiative to scale up programs to protect the emerging middle classes in developing countries.
