Propulse - Development of a Green, Social and Sustainability bond framework
The Green, Social and Sustainability (GSS) bond market saw significant growth over the past years, with cumulative issuances reaching USD 1 trillion in 2020. Proceeds are exclusively used to finance or re-finance, in part or in full, new and existing eligible projects with positive environmental and/or social benefits. Through a technical assistance facility, Proparco supports partner banks in the development of GSS bond frameworks contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Compensation of the directors and of the members of the committees created by the Board
Since 2015, Proparco's General Assembly has decided to grant compensation to Proparco's Directors for their presence and activity within the Board of Directors. At its meeting of May 19, 2021, it set the total annual amount (for all Directors) at €50,000. This decision is applicable to the current fiscal year.

AB BANK ZAMBIA, a partner of Choose Africa in Zambia
Created in 2011, AB Bank Zambia is the only SME and micro-entrepreneur financing bank in Zambia. ABZ has 7 branches and employs 450 staff. In 2019, the FISEA facility, managed by Proparco, invested €1.8 million (ZMW 50 million) in AB Bank Zambia’s capital increase and provided €180,000 in technical assistance to support the implementation of digital credit and savings services for rural populations on the digital mobile platform, eTumba.

Based in Nairobi, poa! internet is an innovative enterprise, providing fast, affordable, unlimited Internet to low-income population. Poa! internet received an investment of US$6.1 million from the Novastar Fund. The FISEA facility, managed by Proparco, invested US$16,5 million in Novastar.
