Thanks to a €2 million loan granted by Proparco, Microfinance Solidaire will expand its support to some twenty microfinance institutions and social enterprises in Africa, Asia and Haiti. This operation illustrates Proparco's strong ambition to support the private sector in fragile countries, which is a priority of its new strategy.

By granting a €3 million credit line to an institution involved in financing microenterprises and SMEs in Haiti, Proparco is demonstrating its commitment to the private sector, a key player in building resilience in fragile countries.

Proparco has granted ACME SA an ARIZ TPE portfolio guarantee of 407 million Haitian gourdes (equivalent to 2.65 million euros). This guarantee is part of a long-standing partnership between Proparco and the microfinance institution. It will enable ACME to strengthen its action with the smallest Haitian companies, which are sensitive to the crises the country is going through.

AFD Group and Microfinance Solidaire (MFS) are strengthening their partnership, launched in 2016, through a new €2 million loan to support MFS's activity in favour of partner microfinance institutions and social enterprises.
