Proparco signed a US$15 million investment in Mekong Enterprise Fund IV to support the growth of the dynamic private sector in Vietnam.

Proparco has just signed a USD 30 million senior credit facility to finance renewable energy and energy efficiency projects promoted by Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB). This financial support, the first of its kind between the two partners, will be accompanied by additional technical assistance on environmental and social (E&S) risk management in order to bring the bank in line with the best international standards.

Proparco signed a USD 50 million loan to VPBank partially dedicated to climate-friendly initiatives, and commits to financing green and energy efficiency projects, as well as supporting SMEs in the country.

HD Bank, one of the Top 10 commercial bank in Vietnam, signed a $50 million loan with Proparco, to invest in projects promoting gender equality and sustainable development.

Through a $12 million loan, Proparco will support the growth of a job-creating company committed to the well-being of its employees, women empowerment as well as the sustainable use of resources.

Through a $20 million investment, Proparco will support job creation and sustainable development in Thailand and the Mekong region.

Through a $10 million loan, Proparco aims to help EVNFinance increase its support to renewable energy projects.

Through a US$ 50 million loan, Proparco will help the bank’s objective to increase its support to projects with climate co-benefits.

Yesterday Proparco granted a €15 million subordinated loan to Manuchar, a Belgian-based commodities trading and logistics company. These funds will enable Manuchar to grow the business and enhance the storage facilities of two of its agri-food subsidiaries in Brazil and Vietnam.

As part of the visit to France of Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Phạm Minh Chính, Proparco and HDBank signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their existing collaboration in financing renewable energy projects in Vietnam.

Through a $10 million loan, the third operation in a 15-year-long partnership, Proparco will contribute to Scavi’s growth and transition to 4.0 manufacturing.

Through a $25 million investment, Proparco will contribute to the development of small scale, decentralized solar plants for commercial and industrial clients in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
