As it celebrates its 40th anniversary in Mexico, Proparco has signed three credit facilities that highlight its continued commitment to contribute to the economic, social and environmental development of the region. The financing for these 3 projects is in addition to the $1 billion already granted by Proparco in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean over the past 12 years.

PROPARCO is reaffirming its support to Banco Financiera Comercial Hondureña S.A. (Ficohsa) via a USD 20m loan. The total amount of this credit line is earmarked to support the financing activity for small and medium-sized enterprises in Honduras. USD 7.5m will be directly allocated to businesses run by women or that promote the inclusion of women in economic activity. USD 5m will go to local SMEs operating in the agribusiness sector.
