Éric Hottelart is Head of Bank Coverage for the Europe-Middle-East-Africa (EMEA) region of the Financial Institution Group at Crédit Agricole CIB. He is an engineer and a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies. He began his career in 1982 as an auditor working for Arthur Andersen, mostly in the financial sector where he was in charge of attest engagements and with advising major banking groups. Between 1989 and 1996, he worked at Crédit Commercial de France (CCF), first in market activity control and subsequently in bond origination. In 1996, he joined Crédit Agricole, first as Head of Origination before being appointed Head of Fixed Income Sales at CAI in 2000. In 2003, he was appointed banking advisor in charge of French institutional clients.
