Proparco supports Ananta Group, a leading apparel producer in Bangladesh

With this USD 13.8M loan, Proparco, the French Development Finance Institution, supports Ananta Huaxiang Limited (AHL), a subsidiary of Ananta Group in Bangladesh, to increase its sweater manufacturing capacity through the expansion of its production facility located in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. This operation will allow AHL to emerge as a large volume sweater manufacturer and strengthen its competitiveness in the international market.

Vista Bank Burkina joins Proparco's Trade Finance operations guarantee program

As the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union draws to a close, Proparco and the European Union (EU) announce the granting of a €3 million line of credit in local currency to the microfinance institution ACEP Burkina Faso. This line of credit benefits from the ESDF guarantee, a risk-sharing mechanism in favor of microentrepreneurs and VSEs/SMEs set up by the European Union in response to the Covid-19 crisis.

With Green Móvil, Proparco is supporting the electrification of buses in Colombia

One year after the Electribus project, Proparco is renewing its support for clean mobility in Colombia with Green Móvil. Financed in partnership with the Colombian development bank FDN, the operation will allow the city of Bogota to acquire 406 electric buses and the infrastructure required for them to run properly.
