Other services

In order to best satisfy the needs of its clients, Proparco also offers advisory services that are complementary to its range of financial instruments. Advisory services aim at improving companies’ financial, social and environmental performances. Through this offer, Proparco stands as a key player in reinforcing the capacities of the Private Sector in developing countries. By providing advisory services, Proparco further supports growth, development and the achievement of the Millenium Development Goals(MDGs) within its area of intervention.

Depending on the needs that Proparco’s partners express before and after investments are carried out, eligible projects are identified by Proparco’s operational teams. The special unit in charge of technical assistance then has to support companies in analysing their needs and implementing the capacity building project.

Technical assistance is provided trough:

-  FISEA  : FISEA offers technical assistance by contributing to structuring and financing capacity building projects (strategic reviews, specific consulting missions  and Fund-led consulting missions). > Read more

- FRCG  : managed by the French Development Agency, FRCG is a financing mechanism dedicated to strengthening governance, environmental and social capacity of local banking counterparts and companies located in Proparco’s top priority area of intervention. FRCG mainly uses preliminary studies and complementary actions. > Read more

  - FFEM and CEFEB  : as Proparco’s partner organisms, FFEM and CEFEB respectively act in favour of environment protection and human capital valorisation. > Read more
