Presentation of the activities of the AFD/Proparco Group to the members of the French South African Chamber of Commerce– Johannesburg, May 2006.
MM. Vincent Rousset, Head of the regional agency of the AFD in South Africa, and Laurent Klein, Representative of Proparco, for Southern Africa, presented, on the 31 May 31 2006, to the members of the French South African Chamber Of Commerce (FSACCI), the activities of the AFD/Proparco Group in South Africa and in the region.
The possible support of the Group to French businesses in the region, through direct financings or in the framework of PPP (Public-Private Partnerships) has been highlighted. The different tied up partnerships with French commercial banks being represented in South Africa (Calyon, Société Générale, Natixis and BNP Paribas) were equally detailed.
